Contains 4 accepted taxa overall.

Family:LAMIACEAE
Common Name:CALAMINT
Genus Notes:The proper classification for the species currently in this genus is problematic. These species are closely related to genera such as Conradina and Piloblephis, far removed from Clinopodium vulgare, the type species of Clinopodium (Edwards et al. 2006; Bräuchler et al. 2010; Drew & Sytsma 2012). Additionally, no type species is so far designated for Calamintha.
