Description:Locally common evergreen fern. 
Habitat:Dry upland forest with Quercus spp., Cercis canadensis, Juniperus virginiana; on outcrops with Sedum pulchellum, mosses, Pellaea atropurpurea; shaded; limestone bluffs and boulders, in humus in crevices.
Reproductive State:Fertile
