|Locality:||USA. Florida. Hillsborough Co.: NW of Tampa just S of FL 580 between Sweetwater and Fish Creeks, and N of Old Tampa Bay.
|Habitat:||Sandy areas along trail through marshy land; remnants of flat, open, longleaf pine [Pinus palustris] land with saw palmetto [Serenoa repens], few scrubby oaks, and bayberry [Myrica cerifera]. Grassy openings with Aristida, Andropogon, and weedy species. Bordering salt flats with salt grasses, black and white mangrove [Avicennia germinans and Laguncularia racemosa].
