W of the center of city of Wahalla in headwaters of Coneross Creek and W of Lake Jemike; from the intersection of SC 28 and C-176 take Lake Jemike Rd. for ca. 3 mi. NW to lake shore; proceed along W shore following the bas4e of Hurricane Mountain to where Otter Creek flows into impoundment.
Habitat:Rich hardwood cove, usually rich in wildflower diversity; common tree species include basswood, bitternut hickory with chalk maple in understory.
