Description:Long; flowers pink, on erect peduncles; stems trailing, to 1 m long. 
Habitat:Private residential community; metamorphic bedrock, generally gneiss and schist; slope in humus and sandy loam; on roadside bank with Astragalus canadensis; ridge slope; mesic upland cove forest; Quercus; Halesia; Rhododendron maximun; Tsuga canadensis; Pinus strobus; Magnolia fraseri.
