Description:Stems at first ascending or erect, then elongating and becoming diffusely spreading and sub-prostrate; roots finely thread-like, up to 30 cm long; stipules scarious, white; flowers white, often pink at base, hypanthium often red; anthers crimson before dehiscence, staminodes subulate, white.
